A286 AMS 5732

A286 AMS 5732 is an iron based superalloy designed for applications requiring high strength and good corrosion resistance at temperatures up to 1300°F (704 °C). A-286 AMS 5732 from Rockwell Industries attains its high strength levels through a solution heat treatment followed by a precipitation hardening. Its oxidation resistance remains high for continuous service to 1500°F.

It attains its high strength levels through a solution heat treatment followed by a precipitation hardening. Its oxidation resistance remains high for continuous service to 1500°F.

Common applications are jet engine components, bolts, fasteners, afterburners, oil & gas.
